Dear Goizueta alumni and friends

Bill Brosius ’85BBA

As the 2005–2006 academic year comes to a close, we celebrate with Emory Weekend—the combination of commencement and reunions from May 11 through May 15. This year, we will welcome almost 600 new alumni to the Goizueta Business School Alumni Association; congratulations Class of 2006! During this exciting time for our graduates, Goizueta Business School and Emory University will be hosting reunions for many of their programs and schools to celebrate the five-, ten-, twenty-five-, and fifty-year reunions. For a complete list of
Emory Weekend events including reunions, please visit www.alumni.emory.edu/emory-weekend.htm or see the Goizueta Business School calendar at http://www.goizueta.emory.edu/alumni/alumni_awards_dinner.html.

In addition to the activities that surround commencement and reunions, Goizueta Business School will be hosting the annual Alumni Awards Dinner on May 12 at the InterContinental Buckhead Hotel. We will be honoring four outstanding alumni: Clyde A. Rodbell ’49BBA, co-founder, Apex Supply Company, Inc., recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Achievement award; Ellen Agnor Bailey ’63C-’87EMBA, COO, Cardiology of Georgia, PC, recipient of the Alumni Service award; James J. Griffin ’62MBA, retired chairman of the board, VT Griffin Services, Inc., recipient of the Alumni Entrepreneurship award; and Sarah O’Brien ’03EMBA, CFO and director of Operations, Kodak Dental Systems, Eastman Kodak Company, recipient of the Outstanding Recent Alumni award. All alumni, students, parents, and friends are welcome to attend. To join us, please register at http://www.goizueta.emory.edu/alumni/
alumni_awards_dinner.html. We hope that you make this special evening part of your Emory Weekend.

Finally, I want to take this opportunity to thank Natalie Miranda, who recently left Goizueta Business School and her role as senior director of Alumni Relations. Natalie’s husband, Craig, got a wonderful opportunity with his company that required them to relocate out of Georgia. It has been both an honor and a pleasure to work with Natalie in my capacity as president of the Goizueta Business School Alumni Association. I thank her for her enthusiasm and commitment over the last three plus years.

Please look for an announcement about the new director of alumni relations soon in the e-News and in the next issue of Goizueta Magazine. In the meantime, you can still reach the Office of Alumni Relations’ team at alumni@bus.emory.edu.

Regards,

Bill Brosius ’85BBA
President
Goizueta Business School Alumni Association
