We are proud to bring you a service that will address
changing career needs and interests. We currently are developing an Alumni
Career Services web site--an active online resource and learning tool
to facilitate each step of a career search.
Designed for Goizueta alumni, the site will provide access to career self-assessment
and networking tools and resources. Areas include business etiquette,
cover letter and resume writing, interviewing skills, negotiation and
compensation, and networking strategy. You will find links to professional
organizations, a career fair calendar, career coaching, job postings,
and industry-specific research and professional search firms. The site
also will provide password access to the Alumni Database, alumni job postings,
and Global Workplace. Our goal is to provide you with many resources in
one place to help you define and reach your career objectives. The launch
date is July 1. We'll keep you posted as more details develop!
Many of you are very helpful in identifying job opportunities for our
students and alumni. This is also proving to be a more challenging year
for placement activities. In particular, summer internships are coming
in at a slower pace.
Allow me to ask you to consider how you can use your contacts and relationships
to identify summer internship possibilities. Of course, any job leads
for students and fellow alumni would be most appreciated.
