Goizueta springs into giving

The fourth annual Goizueta Gives Weekend, held March 23–24, raised $7,000 for the AFLAC Cancer Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Organized by Goizueta MBA students with alumni support, the event included volunteer activities, an alumni/student golf tournament at Stone Mountain, and a combined picnic/silent auction at Park Tavern. Two of the more memorable items for auction included “Dean for a Day,” won by Daniel Jimenez ’03MBA, and a set of Professor Patrick Noonan’s CDs, carried away by Chris Miller ’03MBA. Funds raised also included donations from corporate sponsors and a Penny Race on campus. Chair of this year’s event was Marisa Frost ’02MBA.
