Goizueta alumni at NYSE

Goizueta students and alumni mingled in style on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in November, and the Goizueta logo adorned the podium next to the bell. The event, sponsored by Wachovia, was the second annual reception at the Exchange. Alumni were welcomed by William “Bill” Johnston, former president and COO of the NYSE; Michael F. Misera, managing director—head of equity capital markets for Wachovia; and Dean Tom Robertson. All New York area alumni were invited, and attendees included an equal mix of young and older alumni. The sold-out event included 300 guests and more were on a waiting list. Goizueta MBA students were in New York as part of the MBA Career Management Center’s annual media visit, which gives students the opportunity to visit prospective employers and observe their operations.—Sarah Banick
